Evenfit Consult Sdn. Bhd. (ECSB) is a Malaysian-based civil and structural engineering consulting firm, established in 2001.

 

    Our name “Evenfit” – derived from evaluate and retrofit – reflects our core mission: to safeguard, strengthen, and extend the lifespan of vital infrastructure assets.

 

    With more than 20 years of experience, we have built a strong reputation in the inspection, assessment, design, and rehabilitation of bridges, tunnels, jetties, marine structures, and buildings.

Ir. Ku Mohammad Sani Bin Ku Mahamud started his career with Public Works Department (JKR) in 1984 where he was posted to the Bridge Unit and remained there until his retirement in February 2001. He has vast experience in the field of bridge inspection, assessment, and rehabilitation, which was garnered through his attachment to the studies conducted by the Bridge Unit, i.e.

  • ​​National Axle Load Study (1986 - 1990)

  • JICA Study on the Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Bridges in Malaysia (1990 - 1992)

  • Pilot Study to Determine the Structural Capacity of Existing Bridges in Peninsular Malaysia (1994 - 1995)

  • Study of Bridge Capacity on Federal Routes in Sabah, Sarawak & Labuan for Compliance with WRO 2003 (2010 - 2011)

Ir. Dr. Ng See King had worked for Public Work Department Malaysia (JKR) since graduation in 1980 in different capacities ranging from road engineer, bridge engineer in the JKR headquarters, site-investigation engineer in JKR Soil Lab. Dr. Ng See King spent most of his time in JKR with the Bridge Unit and had been responsible for the drafting of JKR Bridge Loading Specification, creation of JKR's in-house computerized Bridge Management System and was involved in many bridges related studies conducted by JKR. He was heading the Bridge Assessment, Inspection and Rehabilitation Section of JKR Bridge Unit before his retirement from the Government in February 2001. In his private practice as a consulting engineer, he was involved in the studies such as:

  • Bridge Management Study for Sabah & Sarawak (2004 - 2006)

  • Study of Bridge Capacity on Federal Routes in Sabah, Sarawak & Labuan for Compliance with WRO 2003 (2010 - 2011)

Muhamad Nasrullah Bin Shahruddin

Engr. Muhamad Nasrullah Shahruddin is currently engaged with Evenfit Consult Sdn Bhd as a Director - Technical. Prior to this appointment, he has been working for 10 years with a few civil engineering consulting firms and was involved in planning and design of many infrastructure projects. Through the involvement in these projects, he has gained experience in the design of barrages, outlet structures, navigation locks, retaining walls, highway bridges, road and drainages, detention ponds and river works. Major projects that he had been involved are:

  • Kuala Lumpur Flood Mitigation Project (Package B)

  • Development of Drainage Masterplan and Detailed Design of Detention Ponds for KLIA-2 project

  • Raising of Timah Tasoh Dam and Its Associated Affected Infrastructures project

  • Pekan Town Flood Mitigation project

  • Pendang Flood Mitigation project

Ir. Ts. Shaharul Bin Hamzah is Evenfit’s Bridge Resident Engineer for the Penang Second Bridge - Integrated Asset Management System project, which entails the inspection and reporting of the Bridge in a 7-year contract with the concessionaire, Jambatan Kedua Sdn. Bhd. (JKSB). Ir. Ts. Shaharul had been involved in many construction projects. Through the involvement in these projects, he has gained many years of experience in the supervision work of highways, bridges, ground treatments, retaining structures, high-rise building, and housing projects, which includes the mega project of electrified double track project (EDTP) from Ipoh to Padang Besar and from Ipoh to Rawang.

Engr. Mohammad Qusyairi Jamil has been engaged with Evenfit Consult Sdn Bhd since 1st March 2015. During this tenure, he was involved in many projects undertaken by Evenfit.  Notable works in which he has experienced as the ‘Desk Officer’ are:

  • Inspection and maintenance of Penang Second Bridge (7 years contract)

  • Assessment of abandoned project in Projek Jalanraya Lojing - Simpang Pulai (Pakej 6A)

  • Assessment of existing bridges for Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak

  • Inspection of bridges for various highways in Klang Valley namely NPE, BESRAYA, MEX Highway, AKLEH, GCE, LKSA etc.

Syed Iskandar Bin Syed Ismail

Mr. Syed Iskandar Bin Syed Ismail joined Evenfit Consult  Sdn. Bhd. in October 2009. He holds a diploma in Business Studies from Universiti Teknologi Mara in 1991 and Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Open University in 2013. Mr. Syed Iskandar started his career with Perbadanan Kraftangan as an Assistant Administrative Officer in 1991 before moving to Zelleco Construction Sdn. Bhd. (a subsidiary of Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad) in 1994. In 2003, he joined Seloga Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (a subsidiary of Seloga Holdings Berhad) as the Administrative Officer and later to Kawasaki Motors (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in 2008 holding the same position. In the many years of services in these companies, Mr. Syed Iskandar had gained much experience in the areas of finance, human resource and administration.

Abdul Malek Bin Abdul Hamid

Mr. Abdul Malek Bin Abdul Hamid had worked for private and government agencies since graduation in 1997 in different areas ranging from clerical, administrative and financial positions. He joined Evenfit Consult Sdn. Bhd. in 2003 and is now responsible for the administration of the company. In his tenure with the company, he had gained much experience and knowledge in contract management and ISO administration.
